Independant French and Canadian female artist from France, Krealie is a songwriter and vocalist, but also a self-taught pianist and guitarist.
Raised with a multi-instrumentalist father, she started playing music and creating her own songs at a young age. Spent a few years with a singing teacher in a music school to improve her skills. Been lead vocalist of a local band during college.
Stopped playing music for almost 15 years. Traveled a lot around the world, been lucky to live for a while in Canada and USA before coming back to France.
Influenced by a diverse range of genres and artists, including: folk, blues, pop, electro, techno, rock, punk and metal.
Come back now with a real need of creating again. Making her music all by herself with a low budget (lyrics, vocals, music, recording, and releasing).
Blending rock, alternative pop and indie sounds, Krealie’s music offer intimate and etheral atmospheres in a ton often melancholic or introspective, conductive to escape.
Lyrics possess a poetic, introspective and sometimes cryptic dimension, favoring visual evocation and metaphors. Emotions and duality are often the main themes of her songs conducted by a flexible voice from whispers to strong timbre.
